Learning

“Education cannot be neutral. The mission of schools is to develop a sense of truth, of what is good and beautiful. And this occurs through a rich path made up of many ingredients. This is why there are so many subjects — because development is the result of different elements that act together and stimulate intelligence, knowledge, the emotions, the body, and the spirit. And together, these elements enable us to grow. True education enables us to love life and opens us to the fullness of life.”

— Pope Francis

At Sacred Heart College, we believe in the words of Pope Francis that education is “a rich path made up of many ingredients”. Our success as a College is measured by the success of each of our students as they develop into young people that are happy, healthy, striving to meet their individual goals and “open to the fullness of life” and all that it has to offer.
